Vocational Training Orders (VTOs)
Vocational Training Orders (VTOs) are the legal documentation by which training arrangements for apprenticeships and traineeships are established by the NSW Government.
Our role
The NSW ITAB’s role in the making or varying of VTOs is to provide advice to the NSW Department of Industry – Training Services NSW (TSN) with the support from employer groups, unions and industry to determine the most appropriate training arrangements for an apprenticeship or traineeship in each vocation. The NSW TSN then develops the VTO based upon this advice.
Providing feedback
The ITAB welcomes involvement from anyone with an interest in these sectors to ensure VTOs meet industry needs.
If you are interested in providing input and feedback you can do so by contacting Leon Drury on (02) 9955 5500 or email Leon
