Thank You for Participating in the Advanced Weld Repair and Maintenance Upskilling Program
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Empowering Welders to Become Advanced Weld Repair and Maintenance Specialists pilot program. On behalf of the NSW Department of Education, Manufacturing Skills Australia NSW ITAB, Welding Quality Management Systems (WQMS), and TAFE NSW, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their commitment and hard work.
What’s Next?
As part of our commitment to advancing skills in the welding industry, we are excited to share that the resources developed through this pilot programme will be made available to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across NSW and around Australia. These materials, covering the MEM05069 Undertake Advanced Weld Repair and Maintenance and MEM05061 Apply Basic Metallurgy Principles to Welding Applications units, will be free to access for use in future training and upskilling efforts.
Resources for RTOs
MSA NSW ITAB will provide these resources to support the delivery of these advanced welding units, ensuring that more tradespeople can benefit from high-quality training and upskill to meet the growing demands of the mining and fabrication industries.
Please keep an eye on our website for updates on how to access these valuable resources.
